Beverly Vanterpool is an author, consultant, and founder of Career Sistas, a platform dedicated to empowering women who have ever felt like outsiders in traditional career spaces.

She is the author of Build Your Table, a part‑memoir, part strategic career guide that shares unspoken truths of navigating corporate life from the margins—especially for women, immigrants, and professionals of colour. Drawing from her journey as a Black woman, introvert, and immigrant, Beverly offers practical strategies for thriving in systems not built with you in mind. The book now serves as the foundation for career‑focused workshops designed to help professionals build networks, make bold moves, and choose more when it’s time to pivot.

Alongside her work with Career Sistas, Beverly is an operations consultant specialising in payments and small to mid-organisations that need to scale without chaos. She maps how work flow through businesses, designing simple, robust processes, controls, and KPIs. She also offers hands on AI mentoring for small businesses, showing founders and non‑technical teams how to use tools like Copilot and ChatGPT to improve documentation, client communications, and content workflows.

With extensive experience across both corporate and non-profit sectors—including roles at Hewlett Packard, American Express, Visa, Accenture, and Deloitte—Beverly brings strategic insight and operational excellence to every venture. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge. Her governance experience includes serving as Chair of Citizens Advice Kensington & Chelsea and multiple trustee roles.

Originally from the British Virgin Islands and now based in the UK, Beverly is recognised as a changemaker who combines professional expertise with purpose‑driven leadership. Through her consultancy, writing, and the Stories by Career Sistas podcast, she continues to champion diverse voices and build structures that empower others to succeed.
